Job description

Senior and experienced Speech Pathologists are sought after to work privately, part-time/full-time, at offices and online in Gladstone Park, just off the Tullamarine Freeway, and located at Suite 213, in attractive rooftop offices of Gladstone Park Shopping Centre.

Talksolutions is a long-established, busy, primarily pediatric practice, operating 7 days a week. A friendly and professional environment. Some professional mentoring is available, if necessary.

Clients range from 18 months and older. Our clientele presents with a range of delays and disorders in speech, language, and communication.

Great potential to extend from individual therapy, to home/kinder/school visits, to small group parent workshops, and to children's groups.

In this practice, we are three independent sole providers. You will be required to have your own professional indemnity and public liability, your own contents insurance, and income protection. You will use your own ABN and will be responsible for your own accounts, billings, and reports.

You will be directly paid by the clients, on average, $190 an hour, and will be required to pay a practice management fee and a combined rental fee for the space you are allocated on a full-time or part-time basis. You will have access to standardised tests and resources.

There will be a signed service practice agreement once operational.

Practice management and room rates would vary according to the days and times you wish to work.

You have to option to work as many days or hours as you see fit and create your own hours.

Registrations and checks

- Eligible for certification with Speech Pathology Australia,

- Eligible for registration with Medicare and for registration with NDIS.

- Working with Children Check and Police Check.

You will need

- Solid experience and strong skills working with children and families, including children with challenging behaviours.

- Experience in running small group programs/workshops is an advantage.
