Senior Health Care Assistant- Plastic Surgery OPD Salisbury NHS Foundation Plastic Surgery have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Health Care Assistant to join our outpatients team. This is a great opportunity for taking a step into the world of skin conditions and treatments. There will be opportunity to utilise skills in minor ops, skin cancer clinics, Breast clinics and hand trauma. The department is open Mon-Fri 8-5 and we see adults and children. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with patients in a secondary care setting and is keen to learn new skills or build on current ones. Person Specification Qualifications - Care Certificate - Educated to GCSE grade c or equivalent in key skills level 2 or functional skills numeracy / literacy - NVQ in Health or Health & Social care level 2 or equivalent - Paediatric basic life support Experience - Experience of working in secondary care - 1 Year working within a health care setting - Experience of working as a HCA Knowledge and Skills - Ability to work as part of a team - Ability to follow instruction and organise work load - Caring and compassionate nature - Awareness of the importance of safeguarding - Interest in Dermatology and Laser Disclosure and Barring Service Check This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions. £24,937 to £26,598 a yearper annum pro rata if part time #J-18808-Ljbffr
