The role:
The Project Manager is responsible for the co-ordination and follow through to completion of all aspects of projects and to this end will perform a variety of tasks including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing progress of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead BMS / HVAC projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, develop project scopes, and define deliverables.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective project execution and successful delivery.
- Prepare project schedules, resource allocation plans, and cost estimates.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular project status meetings, communicate updates to stakeholders, and ensure effective communication channels throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, technical specifications, and change orders.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of required equipment and materials.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning activities, ensuring adherence to project requirements and client expectations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the project team, troubleshooting any technical issues that arise during the project.
Requirements:
- Proven Experience within a similar role as a Project Manager within the BMS / HVAC Industry.
- Develop and deliver margin improvement strategies.
- Ability to develop and implement budgets.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
