About the Role
Are you looking for a new challenge and the next stage in your nursing career? Are you interested in transferring your skills and experience from the clinical environment to the consulting setting whilst also gaining diverse and new skills and experience? A role as a Health Planner in our Brisbane office could be the opportunity you are looking for.
- As a Health Planner you will work alongside a diverse and talented team to plan and deliver exciting health care projects within Australia, with your recent knowledge of the Australian Health Care System you will be required to provide health facility planning and design advice – you will be the interface between health services and facility planning.
- The role requires you to deliver a wide variety of project deliverables such as providing clients with advice, tools and knowledge capture relating to health facility planning, including clinical and operational planning, change management, benefits realisation, service redesign and models of care, operational commissioning, functional design briefing including functional relationships, schedules of accommodation and schematic and detailed design advice.
- TSA employs a team of Health Planners with a range of complementary skillsets and experiences, we are interested in hearing from you if you have the skills to transition to a health planning role and are looking for a new and exciting challenge.
- This role is an entry level role, the senior members of the Health Planning team will support you in your transition to the role.
- Monday to Friday office hours.
About You
- A tertiary qualification in nursing is essential.
- Recent experience (minimum of 4 years practicing as a Registered Nurse) within the Australian Acute Health Care setting and an understanding of the complex and interrelated nature of health including emerging clinical practice, innovation and trends, models of care, systems and technologies.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure and achieve outcomes in a complex and challenging environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously when required.
- Strong communication and report writing skills, including experience in the facilitation of groups, along with the ability to engage with a broad range of people from different settings.
- Microsoft Office skills.
- Desire to grow and expand your skills in line with the values and culture of our organisation.
