Position Summary
We invite applications from individuals who will play an essential role in supporting secondary students to reach their academic potential. We seek applicants with a good working knowledge of Christian education and strong communication, numeracy, and literacy skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to individual students and small groups, using resources prepared by the classroom teacher
- Record interventions and student progress accurately.
- Uphold a strong duty of care, ensuring student safety, wellbeing, protection, and compliance standards.
- Carry out additional tasks as directed by your Supervisor.
The Successful Candidates We Desire
- Current employee Working with Children’s Check (or willing to apply)
- Police Check (or willing to undergo)
- Qualification in a Cert III in Education Support or Cert IV School Based Education Support is highly desirable; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Patient, supportive, and encouraging but firm with children in a positive matter
