Melton Christian College is seeking applications from supportive and motivated Secondary Education Aides to join our dedicated team in 2026, supporting at Brookfield Campus. If you have a heart for Christian education and a passion for supporting students, we’d love to hear from you.

Position Summary

We invite applications from individuals who will play an essential role in supporting secondary students to reach their academic potential. We seek applicants with a good working knowledge of Christian education and strong communication, numeracy, and literacy skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide support to individual students and small groups, using resources prepared by the classroom teacher
- Record interventions and student progress accurately.
- Uphold a strong duty of care, ensuring student safety, wellbeing, protection, and compliance standards.
- Carry out additional tasks as directed by your Supervisor.

The Successful Candidates We Desire

- Current employee Working with Children’s Check (or willing to apply)
- Police Check (or willing to undergo)
- Qualification in a Cert III in Education Support or Cert IV School Based Education Support is highly desirable; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Patient, supportive, and encouraging but firm with children in a positive matter

- Strong literacy and numeracy capabilities
