Your role: We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated Account and Technical Services Manager to join our Dulux Powders team in Queensland. This newly created hybrid role blends technical expertise with customer relationship management, supporting both our sales and technical field operations.

In this position, you’ll partner closely with customers to provide hands-on technical support, training, and solutions while driving sales growth and market expansion. As the region develops, the role is expected to evolve into a full-time technical position — making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both problem-solving and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities to grow sales and market share.
- Provide technical field support, including troubleshooting, product trials, and application guidance.
- Deliver engaging technical training and presentations to customers and internal teams.
- Collaborate with technical, sales, and operations teams to ensure customer needs are met efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental (SH&E) policies and company standards.

Skills & Experience

- Proven experience in a sales or technical role within an industrial, commercial, or manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical aptitude — with experience in powder application, coating equipment, or similar technologies highly regarded.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver practical solutions.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a broader team.
