Are you a versatile educator with a passion for making a difference? Bendigo Kangan Institute is seeking a flexible and dynamic sessional teacher to join our team at the Metropolitan Remand Centre. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in diverse environments and enjoys teaching across a range of vocational areas.

About the Role:

This sessional teaching position is designed to provide coverage for unplanned leave across multiple subject areas. The successful candidate will deliver training and support to learners in a correctional setting, with potential teaching areas including:

- First Aid
- Occupational Health and Safety
- Construction Skills
- Hospitality
- Other general vocational subjects as required

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking an adaptable educator who can confidently step into various teaching roles and engage learners from different backgrounds. You’ll be a strong communicator, able to build rapport quickly, and committed to creating a positive learning experience.

Key Requirements:

- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment is a requirement (TAE40110 / TAE40116 / TAE40122)
- Relevant vocational qualifications and/or industry experience in one or more of the listed areas
- Ability to work in a correctional environment
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
- A flexible and proactive approach to teaching
