We are seeking an Operations Capability Lead to drive the development and enhancement of Monadelphous’ Offshore Energy O&M capability.

This is a senior, strategic role, working closely with internal SMEs, delivery teams, and clients to ensure our operations are safe, efficient, and aligned with industry best practice.

You will play a key role in building operational excellence by developing and maintaining critical O&M documentation, supporting operational readiness, and providing technical leadership across our offshore energy portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development, review, and update of the full suite of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) documentation to support Monadelphous’ offshore operations

- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for O&M, providing guidance on process optimization, asset integrity, reliability, and production optimization strategies

- Support tendering and opportunity development by providing operational insights and technical input

- Engage with clients, regulators (including NOPSEMA), and internal teams to ensure compliance with legislation, standards, and industry best practices

- Provide technical guidance to Monadelphous’ Technician Upskilling Programme (Cert 3 in Process Plant Operations) and other capability‑building initiatives

- Contribute to operational readiness, commissioning, and assurance activities as required

What you’ll bring:

- Minimum of 20+ years’ experience in Offshore Oil & Gas Operations, ideally in roles such as Operations Team Leader, Operations Specialist, or Offshore Installation Manager (OIM)

- Tertiary qualification in Engineering (recognized by Engineers Australia) highly desirable.

- Strong experience in technical writing, operational documentation, and procedure development

- Demonstrated ability to influence, mentor, and guide teams, fostering a culture of safety, compliance, and operational excellence

- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills

- Strong understanding of industry legislation, standards, and regulatory requirements, with experience liaising with regulators (NOPSEMA)

- Proven expertise in asset integrity, reliability, and operational optimisation
