Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Engineer to join their dynamic team. As the Project Engineer you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of account projects. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contractors, and clients to ensure the highest quality construction, adherence to timelines, and adherence to safety standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of our company and make a lasting impact on the interiors sector of New South Wales.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of fast paced fitout/ construction projects, specialising in sizes exceeding 300 - 2000 square meters.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are executed in accordance with plans, specifications, and established budgets.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and proactively implement solutions to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Manage project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, submittals, and construction drawings.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, resolving engineering-related challenges as they arise.
- Foster positive working relationships with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, construction methods, and technologies to drive continuous improvement in project execution.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in project engineering or management within the construction industry, with a focus on large-scale commercial fitout projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of construction.
