About the role:

We are seeking multiple Project Engineer to join our dynamic team based out of our Regents Park NSW Office, working across a variety of project sites. Offering a career path into project management, the successful candidate will be involved with a variety of tasks including weekly budget reporting, procurement, client liaison, labour planning, creating and implementing project documentation, QA/QC, organising work fronts and planning work.

Compensation – $80,000 to $110,000 full time rate annually (subject to experience)

Key Responsibility Areas:

- Provide project support and assistance through the ownership and delivery of defined projects with best practice, client standards and the agreed outcomes and business benefits.

- Prepare documentation including project plans, Gantt charts and specifications for minor projects.

- Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects.

- Assist to coordinate all project elements including QA/QC, logistics, reporting, compliance, subcontractor management, equipment control, supplies and project management administration.

- Provide timely and efficient coordination and dissemination of project material and project support by undertaking administrative project tasks including managing and maintaining project briefs, project scheduling, action logs, budgets, and performance monitoring of projects.

- Interact daily with Site Supervisors and Project Manager and other project personnel, providing assistance and technical support

Skills/Experience:

- Minimum 5 years’ working experience gained from within either asset remediation or civil construction.

- Relevant degree in Engineering or Construction Management.

- Possess technical knowledge in coatings, surface preparation, management of hazardous substances and application processes, being highly desirable; with experience in asset remediation and infrastructure projects, with blasting & painting, and concrete rehabilitation works.

- NACE 1 or 2 certified, highly desirable.

- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office (excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc).

- Ability to work to project deadlines, budgets and team orientated.
