A modern care home set in the leafy bayside suburb of Caulfield, with public transport links close by. Located 17kms from the CBD, close to the beach and shops, this care home consists of 127 beds, with a variety of care units. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.

- Whilst working shifts as a Carer – Care Companionship, you will bring a “Person First” approach in care planning and assisting our new residents and their families with the process of settling into the home and transitioning into an aged care setting.

- You will coordinate the admissions and respond to and assist with queries and concerns from the residents and their family members.

- You will advise new residents of additional services that are on offer and ensure services are delivered.

- You will complete meal service with the new residents as part of settling in by escorting them to the dining room and ensure they know how the meal service works.

- We’re always looking for ways to improve, and you’ll be playing a pivotal role in the pursuit of best-quality outcomes for much loved and valued residents.

What will you bring?

- Min Certificate 3 qualification in either Ageing, Individual Support, Care or Disability

- A passion and energy for world class care

- Ability to work as part of a tight-knit team and delegate effectively

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- A strong understanding of Resident Rights, and Aged Care Accreditation Standards and their Outcomes
