Overview

Business Analyst – Financial Policy, Risk and Compliance

Location: Murdoch

Unit/Division: South Metropolitan Health Service - South Metropolitan Health Service

SMHS delivers quality, safe and effective hospital and health services within a catchment area stretching more than 3300 square kilometres across the southern half of Perth. SMHS is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Corporate Finance team to provide policy advice at a strategic level in financial policy issues and to contribute to statutory reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

- Provide policy advice at a strategic level in financial policy issues to SMHS and contribute to statutory reporting requirements.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, the candidate must have considerable experience in the use of accrual accounting in a commercial environment, including the management of large financial databases and substantial knowledge of accrual financial reporting processes.
