THE ROLE

- Pastoral care and leadership for a Secondary Home Room, commencing with class devotions each day and closing the day with announcements and prayer

- Plan, teach, assess and report on some AC subjects, provide excellent teaching and learning opportunities for students

- Work in collaboration with other staff to maintain a distinctive Christian education, by motivating and aligning practice with the School’s Vision, Mission & Values

- Encourage students in a positive and supportive learning environment where student achievements are acknowledged

YOU

- A committed Christian teacher with a deep desire to serve Jesus

- Demonstrate a passion for Biblically-based Christian education & teaching

- Demonstrate the ability to motivate and inspire young people to achieve their potential, catering for students with a range of learning abilities

- Have excellent interpersonal skills and experience in working with staff, parents and students

- Demonstrate the ability in problem solving, flexibility, priority setting and time management

- Hold a current Tasmanian Teachers’ Registration and Working with Vulnerable People Check
