**FULL TIME: YEAR 10 Home Room Teacher/Year 9 & 10 HASS & English**

**The Role**
- pastoral care and leadership for the Year 10 class, commencing with class devotions each day and closing the day with announcements and prayer
- plan, teach, assess and report on Year 10 English and Year 9 & 10 HASS
- provide excellent teaching and learning opportunities for students
- work in collaboration with other staff to maintain a distinctive Christian education, by motivating and aligning practice with the School’s Vision, Mission & Values
- encourage students in a positive and supportive learning environment where student achievements are acknowledged.

**You**
- a committed Christian teacher with a deep desire to serve Jesus
- demonstrate a passion for Biblically-based Christian education & teaching
- demonstrate the ability to motivate and inspire young people to achieve their potential, catering for students with a range of learning abilities
- have excellent interpersonal skills and experience in working with staff, parents and students
- demonstrate the ability in problem solving, flexibility, priority setting and time management
- hold a current Teachers’ Registration and Working with Vulnerable People Check
