We already have a co-founder leading AI/software efforts, and now we’re looking for the right partner to own our hardware vision. What You'll Do

Define & Lead Hardware Strategy

- Own the entire hardware roadmap—mechanical, electrical, embedded systems—from concept to mass production.
- Ensure that hardware solutions align seamlessly with our AI/software stack.

Prototype & Iterate

- Design and refine hardware prototypes (e.g., robotic arms, power electronics, sensor arrays) to test feasibility and performance.
- Collaborate with the AI team to integrate machine learning components for optimal efficiency and real-time feedback.
- Innovate on wireless discharging methods, focusing on speed, safety, and minimal environmental impact.
- Oversee component sourcing, testing procedures, and manufacturing processes.

Grow the Team

- Recruit and mentor hardware engineers, fostering a creative, high-performance environment.
- Work hand-in-hand with other co-founders and advisors to drive company vision and strategy.

Shape Our Future

- Partner on fundraising, investor relations, and strategic partnerships, representing Oscorp Energy’s hardware capabilities.
- Champion our mission to transform battery recycling worldwide.

Who You Are

Seasoned Hardware Innovator

- Solid background in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering, with a track record of building complex hardware solutions.
- Bonus points for experience in robotics, power electronics, battery technology, or clean tech.
- You thrive on solving tough technical challenges and aren’t afraid to pivot quickly in a startup environment.
- You’re willing to work for equity (rather than salary) until we secure the resources to pay a full-time wage.
- You crave the responsibility of shaping a company from the ground up and aren’t deterred by the inherent uncertainty of an early-stage venture.
- Strong communication skills, comfortable working across disciplines (hardware, AI, business, sustainability).
- Eager to build and lead a hardware team in alignment with our broader mission.
