The EH Way

At Employment Hero, we’re proud of our unique DNA, which we call The EH Way.

This role

Employment Hero provides a HR, payroll and benefits software-as-a-service platform to small and medium-sized businesses.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Implementation Consultant to join our specialist Managed Service Delivery team. As a Senior Implementation Consultant, you will be a subject-matter expert within the team, responsible for managing our most complex implementation projects and acting as a key point of escalation. You will leverage your deep product and industry knowledge to ensure our customers have the skills required to proficiently operate and administer our software.

While you will not have direct line management responsibilities, you will play a crucial role in the development of the wider team by providing mentorship, guidance, and support to other Implementation Consultants.

This role is challenging and rewarding, requiring you to manage a portfolio of high-value projects while simultaneously acting as a resource for your colleagues. Our platform and our business are constantly changing, and we’re seeking a candidate with extensive payroll knowledge who can communicate effectively, influence stakeholders, and thrive in a constantly evolving environment.

Your key focus areas will be

- Operating within a sophisticated Account Management model, focusing on building influential relationships with key stakeholders, driving growth, and identifying strategic upsell opportunities.
- Transforming client satisfaction into powerful advocacy, leveraging strong performance indicators to create champions for our brand
- You will be the central point of contact, orchestrating internal resources from across the business to ensure your clients are expertly supported at every stage of their journey.

This will include the following

- Leading the implementation for our most complex and high-value clients, ensuring a seamless and successful transition to the Employment Hero platform.
- Acting as a primary mentor and point of escalation for the Implementation team, providing guidance on best practices, troubleshooting complex issues, and supporting their professional development.
- Working with both HR and Payroll teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for our customers.
- Designing, developing, and delivering bespoke Payroll and HR implementation workshop content to multiple clients based on best practice.
- Delivering specialised training to clients on advanced payroll and HR implementations.
- Responding to customer communications and queries during the implementation within SLA.
- Building strong working relationships with fellow Customer Experience (CX) team members and external teams to continuously drive improvement in what we do and how we do it.
- Ensuring the data in our business management systems (e.g., sales, support, project management, time tracking) is accurate and current.
- Constantly reviewing and improving our delivery processes and contributing to strategic continuous improvement initiatives.

Who you are

To thrive at Employment Hero, you’ll need to embody The EH Way - operating with focus, agility, and an obsession with impact.

For this role, you’ll also bring

- 2+ years of implementation and training experience, with a proven track record of managing complex, client-facing projects.
- Expert knowledge of current legislative payroll requirements in the UK
- Experience in creating and maintaining learning content to support new products and assist with implementations and platform adoption.
- Extensive Payroll or HR Implementations experience, with a deep understanding of the complexities and nuances of the implementation journey.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Proven stakeholder management skills, with experience driving change and improvement with both internal and external teams.
- Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to manage a challenging workload and a high-volume project portfolio effectively.
- A passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge with others.

What we can offer

At Employment Hero, we don’t just talk about a better way to work - we live it. Joining Employment Hero means

- You will work remotely, with the flexibility to own your time and impact
- You will access cutting-edge tools to amplify your work, knowledge and outputs
- You’ll surround yourself with ambitious, outcome-driven colleagues who challenge you to do the best work of your life
- You’ll own ESOP (employee share options) in one of the world’s fastest-growing tech companies
- You’ll also have access to a wide range of benefits that includes: a very generous parental leave policy, subsidised egg freezing (so you can make the choice that’s right for you, on your terms), a WFH office expense budget, and outstanding learning & development opportunities
