The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time/part time Secondary Industrial Design and Technologies (IDT) and Industrial Technologies Skills (ITS) Teacher to join our team at Chinchilla Christian College, commencing Term 1, January 2026.

As a Secondary IDT and ITS Teacher, you will teach Year 7-10 IDT and Year 11-12 ITS. For a full time position, teaching another subject will be a requirement.

Remuneration

As a Secondary IDT and ITS Teacher, you will receive a remuneration package circa $88,824 – $127,51 plus super per annum, based on your experience level.

Qualities, Qualifications, Skills

To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for teaching IDT and ITS.

You will be required to:

- Provide a current Christian church leader as a referee,
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, or Graduate Diploma if you hold a Bachelor in a different field,
- Be a qualified teacher with QLD College of Teacher’s Registration (QCT) or have the ability to obtain QCT registration,
- Support the College’s mission, aims and values,
- Have a strong knowledge of the curriculum and be able to teach it from a Biblical perspective,
- Contribute to co-curricular activities,
- Confidently lead student learning within a productive classroom environment,
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills, with an ability to effectively prioritise, and
- Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.
