Full-time | Join a leading not-for-profit aged care organisation
At Respect Aged Care, we are proud to be a not-for-profit organisation that has been supporting older Australians for generations. Our mission is simple but powerful, to care for the elderly in our communities in an environment of respect, value, and belonging.
We are now seeking a Risk & Assurance Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our risk management framework across all areas of the organisation. Ensuring our residents, people, and communities are safe, compliant, and well-supported.

You will collaborate closely with the Executive Team, senior leaders, and our Quality and WHS teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across operational, financial, IT and cyber, governance, regulatory, and compliance areas.
Your work will help ensure our risk practices not only meet, but exceed, legislative and aged care quality standards.
What You Will Do

- Prepare and present risk reports to the Executive Team, Board, and relevant committees.
- Deliver risk management training and education programs to staff and leaders.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in risk and incident management across the organisation.
About You
You are a strategic thinker who enjoys balancing big-picture governance with hands‑on implementation. You have strong analytical and reporting skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to simplify complex risk information for a diverse audience.
You will also bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Risk Management, Health Administration, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience developing and implementing organisational risk frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- High proficiency in risk registers, incident management systems, and data reporting.
- Experience in aged care or healthcare, with knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and Aged Care Act 2024.(Desirable)
Why Respect?
When you join Respect, you are not just taking on a role, you are becoming part of a community built on shared values:
- Respect: Treat all people with fairness and dignity.
- Care: Look after and protect the elderly, and each other.
- Teamwork: Encourage, cooperate, and build trust.
- Courage: Do the right thing, even when it’s difficult.
- Integrity: Be open, honest, and trustworthy.
- Innovation: Think differently to solve problems.
- Excellence: Drive quality and continuously improve.
As a remote role, you can be based anywhere in Australia, with occasional travel to sites or team meetings when required. You will enjoy the flexibility of working from home while contributing to a purpose‑driven organisation that genuinely values its people.
