A well-established and growing construction and development group with a strong presence across Melbourne is seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Project Manager. Known for delivering high-quality commercial and industrial projects.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Construction Project Manager to take ownership of projects from conception through to handover. You will be a key player in delivering high-quality builds, managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractor relationships while ensuring site safety and project excellence.

Based out of their North Melbourne office, you will initially be responsible for managing a multi-storey accommodation project alongside an industrial project, providing the chance to work across two fast-moving and distinct sectors, offering variety, challenge, and the opportunity to broaden your project portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage full project lifecycle: design coordination, procurement, construction, and handover
- Prepare and monitor project schedules, budgets, and progress reports
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, consultants, and internal site teams
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, OH&S, and quality standards
- Drive effective communication between stakeholders and on-site personnel
- Lead project meetings and maintain strong client relationships

What You’ll Bring

- Proven experience managing industrial construction projects in Australia is preferred
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of Australian building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices
- Ability to lead teams, multitask, and problem-solve under pressure
- Experience with software such as Cheops and Procore is advantageous
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
