About the Role

Established in the 1990s, our client is one of the leading tarpaulin manufacturers, supplying products for agriculture, industrial, and commercial users across Australia.

Due to increased demand, a newly created position is now available for a confident, energetic, self-motivated Key Account Business Development Manager, who will be responsible for managing and servicing the Western Australia region. This is a busy sales-focused role, where you will be visiting and building relationships with new and existing customers, managing customer enquiries and identifying and securing new business opportunities, predominantly across the Agriculture sector.

The ideal candidate will have extensive B2B sales experience, a solution-selling mindset and knowledge or background in the agriculture industry.

Duties

- Manage and develop strategic relationships with key accounts across the WA Territory, ensuring exceptional service and identifying new revenue opportunities.

- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with the company's strategic objectives.

- Develop and execute effective call plans to maximise field presence.

- Provide regular customer performance reporting and analysis to senior management.

- Ensure accurate & timely CRM management and reporting.

- Undertake regular multi-night/overnight travel within your assigned territory.

- Develop a thorough understanding of the key client needs and requirements

- Attend industry and trade events to promote solutions and build brand visibility.

Skills and Experience

- Sound experience and/or knowledge of the Agricultural industry

- Strong B2B sales skills, with the ability to build & foster long-term relationships

- Highly driven, with the ability to consistently meet and exceed targets

- Be able to plan and manage your own appointments and schedules

- Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills

- Strong commercial acumen and accountability, with the ability to analyse data and make data driven decisions

- Sound computer skills including MS Office and CRM systems

- Current drivers licence

- Be available to travel extensively throughout your Territory

- Excellent time management & organizational skills

- This role is NOT suitable to anyone requiring Sponsorship or does not have full working rights in Australia
