Are you a client focused, values driven Speech Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist or undergraduate of these disciplines?
Join our growing team of therapists to deliver therapy to individuals through our Early Intervention, School Age or Adult services, on a full or part-time basis.
Our hubs are located in Joondalup, Shenton Park, Midland and Fremantle.
About the Role
We are looking to expand our team with passionate and caring therapists who are committed to providing high quality services to individuals with Autism and their families.
Our therapists work within a multi-disciplinary team, providing direct and consultative supports to clients with autism.
- Provide consultation and education to families and key stakeholders supporting people with autism to create inclusion and participation across a range of settings
- Have opportunities to implement specialist programs and curriculum development, including HanenPrograms® parent coaching, social communication, mealtimes, Positive Behaviour Support Programs and more
- Be based from one of our therapy centres and travel within a local geographical area to people’s homes, schools, and community settings to provide family centred services
- Lead specialist therapy groups across a range of ages and skill areas
- Depending on your area of expertise, complete specialist assessments for Augmentative and Alternate Communication or Functional Capacity
About You
The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and a passion to dream big for people with Autism to live their best lives possible.
Additional requirements for the role include:
- A relevant tertiary qualification
- Membership or registration with the appropriate professional body
- Client centered approach
- Experience working with children and/or adults with disability and their families is desirable
