Role and Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs
  • Develop and implement customized therapy plans to support clients achieve their functional goals
  • Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions, focusing on activities of daily living, mobility, and community integration
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to client care
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records
  • Supervise OT assist team to implement client supports as appropriate
  • Participate in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with industry best practices

Skills and Qualifications

  • Occupational Therapy Bachelors' Degree or equivalent as approved by AHPRA
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in the community / in-home setting (desirable)
  • Drivers' license and reliable vehicle
  • Valid NPC and/or NDIS or willingness to obtain
  • 2025 Flu Vaccine Certificate, or willingness to obtain
