We are strongly committed to reconciliation with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of Australia. We remain steadfast in our commitment to promoting the economic, political, and social inclusion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
About the role
As our Case Manager you will provide critical support to vulnerable families helping them keep their children safely at home. You will conduct initial assessments of each family’s strengths and needs, develop case plans that empower them to create lasting change, strengthen their resilience to reduce the risk of significant harm, and connect them with appropriate services and networks.
Our Family Preservation program delivers targeted, voluntary child protection services to families with children who are at high risk of entering or escalating within the statutory child protection system. The program aims to reduce risks and strengthen families to reduce the number of children entering Out of Home Care.
What you get to do
- Conduct comprehensive family assessments to identify strengths, needs, and risks.
- Develop and implement case plans that empower families to create lasting positive change.
- Provide intensive home visiting (minimum once per week) and practical, evidence-informed interventions.
- Maintain accurate, timely case notes and documentation to meet compliance and reporting standards.
- Collaborate with other services to ensure families are connected to the right supports.
- Partner with parents and carers to build safety, stability, and resilience within the home.
Our Benefits
We support people to live their best life, including you as an employee. A “best life” is unique and can change as life changes:
- Salary Benefits - You can package up to $18,550pa of your pre-tax salary to pay for everyday expenses before income tax is calculated, meaning you take home more pay.

- Recognition and Reward - Sector competitive remuneration, various recognition programs and access to long service leave after 5 years.
- Wellness - Fitness passport, Employee Assistance Program, and option to purchase additional leave.
- Professional development - Career development opportunities for employees and volunteers.
- Our Reconciliation Commitment - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees are entitled to up to 2 days paid plus up to 10 days unpaid cultural leave, with opportunities for cultural and professional development that support career pathways and wellbeing.
