We are looking for a motivated and adaptable Junior Project Engineer with a strong technical background in the design and estimation of low-voltage (LV) panel boards for the industrial and mining sectors. Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to gather information and provide technical solutions for ongoing projects.

- Plan project timelines, budgets, and resources in collaboration with production and procurement teams.

- Supervise electrical workshop and ensure correct wiring and assembly in compliance with standards such as AS 3000, AS 61439.

- Track progress and update stakeholders on delivery schedules and milestones.

- Ensure quality control and maintain documentation of testing and inspections.

- Perform design verification of panels in compliance with AS 61439 standards.

- Design single line diagrams (SLDs), control diagrams, general arrangements, and multi-line diagrams.

- Assist in the preparation of detailed shop drawings.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support both sales and manufacturing processes.

- Liaise with clients to provide technical explanations and resolve queries.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in LV panel board design and estimation, including work related to mining and industrial products.

- Solid understanding of AS 61439 & AS 3000 electrical standards and mining standards, particularly for applications in the Australian market.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, cubic and X Energy other relevant electrical software tools.

- Proficiency in PLC Programming and VFDs

- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office software.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

- Hands‑on experience in QC, ITR & ITP will be beneficial.
