Role Summary Our Asset Management team is a high performing and innovation focused group of Maintenance, Reliability and Integrity professionals. We work closely with our clients providing project and operational support across many asset types including vessels, pipelines, piping, rotating equipment, process and heavy machinery. As a Master Data Specialist, you will work with existing national clients on asset management and maintenance projects and be supported to continue our success in generating innovative, fit for purpose and cost-effective solutions for our customers. Within this role, you will: Responsibilities - Work directly with clients day-to-day, driving project deliverables. - Take a key role in developing, implementing and improving asset management systems and processes. - Develop new or manage existing CMMS/EAM Master Data including Material Masters - Develop project data definition guides and configure project instances accordingly - Carry out periodic QC to ensure project data quality as per internal quality processes and data definition guidance - Produce reports and/or metrics for data elements of assigned projects as required - Contribute to continuous improvement in all necessary systems, processes and procedures in delivery of master data projects - Maintain an up to date knowledge of techniques and best practices appropriate to master data management - Provide mentoring to junior staff engaged in support of data management scopes of work - Provide training in data management for own and client staff as required Assignments - Managing Master Data - Performing Spare Parts Reviews and Assessments - Stock Holding Level Assessments - Materials Management Framework including developing Spare Parts Philosophies, Guidelines and Procedures - BoM Development - MRP Analysis - Providing Master Data, Critical Spares Analysis and MRP support to a variety of Operational Readiness projects Qualifications and Experience - The type of background: hydrocarbons, manufacturing or mining environments with a proven capability to deliver to project timelines as well as: - A degree or trade background - Computer Literate with good capability of MS Office suite of programs and Intermediate / Advanced skills in MS Access and SQL; a programming language capability is advantageous - Proficient developing and managing one or more CMMS databases (i.e. Oracle, Maximo, SAP, JDE, AMOS) - Experience with Equipment hierarchy, Bill of Materials, PM and shutdown planning and Maintenance Plan development - Experience working within maintenance operations and teams advantageous - The energy and passion to challenge themselves and the team, innovate and step outside their /"comfort zone/" do deliver value - Demonstrated initiative to identify and extend service opportunities with existing clients We are growing At Verbrec, we empower change and create opportunities for you to develop a supercharged career pathway, whether it is a technical, or focused on the people.
