The opportunity

Based in vibrant Burswood, this role offers the opportunity to lead the design delivery of high-impact infrastructure projects. You/'ll be at the heart of technical innovation, shaping detailed design solutions that drive project success from concept to execution.

Key responsibilities include

- Interpreting and defining scopes of work with clarity and precision
- Producing calculations and design documentation, including CAD drafts and formal drawings
- Developing comprehensive design packages—such as drawings, cable and termination schedules, and equipment/instrument/IO lists
- Offering technical expertise to project teams, ensuring alignment with applicable codes, standards, and industry best practices
- Addressing engineering challenges by identifying issues and implementing effective solutions

About you

- 10 years+ of Project Design experience on Mining projects.
- Electrical, Control, Instrumentation and Communications design experience.
- Ability to interpret and follow Client specifications and drawings.
- In-depth knowledge of Australian Standards.
- Strong AutoCAD capabilities, and Microstation experience.
- Ability to write technical documents.
- Demonstrated commitment to QA.
- MS Office high level of proficiency.
