Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and support the delivery of leasing functions in line with internal processes and compliance frameworks
- Conduct market engagement, identify suitable lessees, and manage lease negotiations
- Prepare advertising materials and manage leasing campaigns (e.g., EOI, RFP, Open Leasing)
- Review applications and prepare recommendations for internal approvals
- Draft briefing documents and committee papers related to tenant selection
- Collaborate with internal departments including planning, marketing, and asset management to ensure alignment with organisational objectives
- Ensure all proposals comply with site-specific planning and heritage requirements
- Maintain CRM records and leasing databases; generate regular leasing performance reports
- Develop strategies to reduce vacancy and optimise revenue
- Record all tenant interactions and manage leasing documentation accurately
- Support ongoing improvement of leasing processes and systems

About You Essential Criteria:

- Degree or significant experience in Property, Sales, Business, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in commercial leasing, business development, or property management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing professional documentation and proposals
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
- Sound judgment and ability to assess business fit for leasing opportunities
- Understanding of Work Health & Safety practices
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Desirable:

- Experience with heritage assets or leasing within complex regulatory environments
- Knowledge of planning and compliance considerations relevant to government-owned property

Eligibility Requirements

- Must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid working visa
- Current driver's licence
- Ability to pass a national police check
