Maintenance Electrician - Food Production

One of SA's leading Food Production companies is experiencing sizeable growth and invites high performing Maintenance Electricians eager to step up.

The Opportunity

We are thrilled to represent this industry leading in the fast moving food production industry. As a Maintenance Electrician, you'll be the driving force behind the smooth operation of their state-of-the-art facilities, ensuring that their electrical systems run seamlessly. This permanent, full-time role based in the northern suburbs offers you the opportunity to make a significant impact and develop your electrical expertise in a thriving business.

Your Role

You will work closely with Plant Maintenance Leadership and be an integral part of a high-performing team, enjoying the autonomy to shape your role and make it your own as well as contribute to the growth and success of a family-owned business. You will also:

- Inspect electrical systems regularly to identify potential issues

- Repair or replace faulty wiring, fixtures, motors, switches, and other electrical components

- Diagnose electrical issues using testing devices

- Install new electrical systems or upgrade old ones

- Follow current safety regulations and electrical codes

- Maintain lighting systems, control panels, circuit breakers, and generators

- Keep records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance schedules

- Formal Qualifications in Electrical suitable to Australian standards

About You

- Relevant Trade Qualifications in Electrical with solid experience in local Australian standards

- Demonstrated experience in compliance with OHS policies & procedures throughout day-to-day activity

- Ability to remain calm when under high pressure situations whilst understanding the urgency of situations

- Great team player

- Willing and able to work on call 24/7
