Your next opportunity:
Boral in SA are currently seeking an experienced Electrician to join our workshop team based at Stonyfell. A hands-on role, the primary focus will be to maintain all electrical systems and processes for our quarry, concrete and Recycling sites.

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor you will be involved in a wide range of activities involving planned maintenance, installation work, breakdowns and minimising production downtime.

Your day will involve:

  • Work safely in line with Boral's policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the management and development of a small team of electricians.
  • Co-operate and liaise with electrical contractors.
  • Maintain all electrical records and documentation for all site electrical systems.
  • Complete preventative maintenance, inspections and testing in planned site shutdowns.
  • Carry out site installation works on new equipment and upgrades of existing equipment.
  • Attend sites for any breakdowns or repairs.
  • Carry out job planning, including assessing required work equipment, etc.
  • Assist with requests to organise quotes and order parts as required.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in an industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with automation/control systems.
  • Previous experience involving asset maintenance management systems.
  • Industrial fault-finding experience.
  • Experience in quarry or mining industries preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to provide a proactive and enthusiastic approach towards work.
  • Flexibility for overtime hours if required.
