Model Farms High School is a co-educational, comprehensive high school located in the North-West of Sydney, with an enrolment of 1,030 students. Specific Selection Criteria

- Applicants must satisfy the teacher training and academic qualification requirements for this position. In addition to the general selection criteria, Approval to teach Mathematics Years 7-12
- Demonstrated deep knowledge of the Mathematics curricula with proven capacity to lead, support and monitor ongoing curriculum development, cultivating a collaborative and high performing environment that drives creative and innovative pedagogy fostering positive student engagement and effectively assessing student progress.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication and leadership skills to build individual teacher and faculty team capacity, fostering a culture of high expectations.
- Demonstrated capacity to work as part of the school executive team, leading a cycle of continuous improvement including leading whole school numeracy initiatives and aligning with the school's strategic directions.

General Selection Criteria

- Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice
- Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs
- Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams
- Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents
- Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning
- Knowledge of and commitment to the Department/'s Aboriginal education policy
