We have multiple opportunities for highly skilled Diesel Fitters to join our Cairns Field Service Team to support the Marine, Power Generation, Transport and Civil Industries. These are Permanent, Full-Time opportunities working a 9-day fortnight.

As a Field Service Fitter, you will:

- Travel to specific customer site projects
- Provide breakdown, diagnostic and warranty support for the CAT product
- Complete scheduled engine rebuilds, repairs and general servicing
- Minimise production downtime by prioritising work to the required timeframes
- Ensure customer receives the highest quality of service and focus on increasing equipment performance

About You

A successful teammate will have:

- Relevant Trade qualification
- Demonstrated experience on industrial engines and experience in the marine sector is also highly favourable
- Strong fault finding and diagnostic ability
- Dedicated commitment to health and safety
- High level of initiative, reliability and ability to work independently
- A customer driven focus and commitment to continuous improvement
- Excellent communication, documentation and time management skills
- A strong adherence to safety and quality control
