Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Role

About The Position

  • We are seeking a skilled trade qualified heavy vehicle mechanic to join our team in Mackay.

The Job Involves:

  • Performing general servicing tasks on heavy vehicles, including Mercedes Benz, Kenworth, Volvo, Isuzu, Fuso, Hino, and Freightliner models.
  • Diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of mechanical, pneumatic, diesel systems, auto electrical, air conditioning, and hydraulic repairs in accordance with job card requirements.
  • Working collaboratively with supportive management to ensure the applicant is supported at all times.
  • Fully supplied personal protective equipment.
  • Working in a modern workshop with top-of-the-line diagnostic equipment.
  • Development opportunities through training and development options both in-house and through suppliers.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Possess a trade qualification as a heavy vehicle diesel mechanic, minimum certificate (III).
  • Demonstrated ability working within a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous diagnostic investigation experience.
  • Able to maintain high safety standards and adhere to HSE policies and procedures.
