The Opportunity

This is a rare chance for a highly experienced Family Lawyer to step into a Special Counsel position. You will take charge of complex, high‑net‑worth family law matters, including property settlements, financial agreements, parenting disputes, and divorce cases.

As a key leader, you will also mentor and develop a talented team of lawyers, guiding them toward success. Working closely with the firm’s leadership, you will drive business growth, refine strategic direction, and solidify the firm’s standing as a premier family law practice.

Your Role Will Include

- Managing a sophisticated caseload, including high‑value property and parenting disputes

- Leading and mentoring a team of dedicated family lawyers

- Providing strategic legal advice and innovative solutions to clients

- Driving business development initiatives to expand the firm’s client base

- Playing a key role in shaping the firm’s strategic direction and long‑term success

Who We’re Looking For

- Minimum 4-8 years PAE in family law, with a strong track record in complex cases

- A confident and inspiring leader with experience mentoring junior lawyers

- Excellent advocacy, negotiation, and client management skills

- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to contribute to business growth

- Admitted to practice as a solicitor in Australia
