- Permanent, Full-Time & Part-time positions (64 or 80 hrs+ADO - negotiable)

- 7 day rotating roster - including night duty

Department

Alfred Mental & Addiction Health is responsible for the operation of services which focus on people with a mental illness residing in the Inner South Eastern area of Melbourne.

About the role

The Emergency Psychiatry team is comprised of dedicated and compassionate mental health clinicians. This is an incredibly unique and diverse role, which branches across four main areas – Crisis Assessment and Treatment, Triage, Emergency Psychiatry and APACER. Unlike other mental health services where staff generally are siloed into one specific team, this is a fantastic opportunity to work across a variety of unique settings and be a valued member of a supportive team which provides support across each stream depending on demand.

About you

- Approved tertiary qualifications and registration with the Occupational Therapy Board via AHPRA; or eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers.

- Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience. Previous work within an acute community mental health setting, and drug and alcohol experience is highly regarded.

- Australian working rights and current Influenza vaccination.
