Employment Type: full time 38 hours across 5 days

Pay: $40.65 - $41.98 p/h + super

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Flora Hill you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.

In This Role, You Will

- Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
- Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
- Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence
- Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

You’ll Need

- Diploma of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
- Hold a current Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain one
- Holds a current Police Check or is willing to obtain one upon request
- Substantial experience as a Senior Educator or in a similar role
- Working in a float position, mentor and build capabilities mentor within the centre team by providing hands-on support, sharing best practice, and fostering professional growth
