My client is a Melbourne-based innovator in modular construction, redefining how the world builds with scalable, sustainable, and reconfigurable building systems. Award-winning modular solutions have been featured at major events like the Formula 1 Grand Prix, Australian Open, and Melbourne Cup, as well as in healthcare and commercial infrastructure projects across Australia and internationally. Dandenong South facility serves as the operational hub for their Australian projects.
The Opportunity
My client is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of modular infrastructure projects from its Dandenong South warehouse. This role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle—from planning and procurement to execution and stakeholder engagement—ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of their modular solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans aligned with strategic objectives.
- Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to guide project execution.
- Coordinate procurement and logistics for materials, equipment, and resources.
- Engage with architects, engineers, and tradespeople to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, quality standards, and risk factors.
- Facilitate communication with stakeholders, including local authorities, for approvals and inspections.
- Lead and manage on-site teams, including subcontractors, to meet project deliverables.
- Implement change management processes to adapt to evolving project needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Project Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in relevant field, preferably with modular or prefabricated structures.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools.
