Clinical Nurse Consultant - McGrath Cancer Care Nurse (Breast) Location: Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Nedlands Unit/Division: North Metropolitan Health Service - Sir Charles Gairdner Osborne Park Health Care Group Do you want to be a part of a team that promotes and improves the health of its people and community? This is a Fixed Term Part Time appointment at 60.8 hours per fortnight until 30/06/2028, with the possibility of extension(s). What is our Clinical Nurse Consultant role? This position is a specialised role funded by the McGrath foundation, supporting patients with early breast cancer. The McGrath CancerCare Nurse (Breast) CNC will lead and manage their specialty service, maintaining the McGrath Foundation reporting database. They will provide leadership in the development and enhancement of specialty services for women and men presenting with early breast cancer in accordance with clinical practice guidelines and the McGrath Model of Care. Duties include: - Practicing as a Senior Registered Nurse (SRN) in keeping with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board Registration Standards and Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart. - Providing clinical leadership and management within the organisation, clinical division, and area(s) of responsibility. - Upholding and functioning within the core values of the organisation of Care, Respect, Innovation, Teamwork, and Integrity.
