Job Description

- Manage and maintain the accounts receivable ledger.
- Keep track of outstanding invoices and ensure timely debt repayments.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or misapplied cash transactions.
- Communicate with clients regarding billing issues and queries.
- Prepare and present reports detailing accounts receivable status.
- Assist in general financial management and analysis.
- Cooperate with the accounting and finance department to improve financial processes.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the accounting department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Receivable Officer should have:

- An Accounting or Finance degree or similar qualification.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
