Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed-term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

The selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, but it may also be used to fill other similar vacancies throughout the health service.

Position Profile

Perform maintenance, repairs, and installation tasks for the Wheatbelt region and assist other Engineering staff as required.

The occupant of this position is required to demonstrate a positive commitment to modelling our organisational values, safety, and quality improvement and the Code of Conduct in all aspects of their employment.

Area Profile

The WACHS Wheatbelt region extends from the Turquoise Coast to Southern Cross to the Darling Scarp to the regional towns of Wagin and Lake Grace.

Health services currently available to the Wheatbelt community include emergency care and retrieval, acute and sub-acute inpatient care, aged care, mental health, and population and community health.
