Responsibilities - The successful applicants will be expected to liaise with team members and work on a range of environmental health programmes and projects relevant to the unit they are working within. - Deliver a diverse range of activities, including the administration of 5 Acts and 26 subsidiary regulations. - Work as a trusted regulator, community educator and capacity builder, collaborating with state and local governments and industry to protect the health and safety of the WA community. Qualifications & Eligibility - Relevant science degree – essential criterion for an SC1 role. - Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships. - High attention to detail and good organisational skills, with the ability to work in a team environment. - Valid working visa (for fixed‑term appointments) or Australian citizen, permanent resident, or visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments). - Will be required to undertake a criminal records screening and integrity checking; may also need a working‑with‑children check and pre‑employment health assessment.
