About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cook/Chef to join the Milly’s team. This varied role involves preparing high-quality dishes for our cafe menu and catering for events, while ensuring every meal meets our high standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and deliver high-standard menu items for cafe service and catering

- Ensure consistency and quality in all dishes

- Manage time efficiently during busy service periods

- Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment

- Work collaboratively within a fast-paced kitchen team

About You

You are passionate about food and dedicated to delivering outstanding customer experiences. You will also have:

- Proven experience as a chef or short-order cook in a busy kitchen

- The ability to follow directions and work independentlyReliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude

- Availability to work early mornings, nights, and weekends

- Solid knowledge of food safety standards
