About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering property and infrastructure projects that shape communities across Tasmania. Working on diverse projects in sectors such as aviation, retail/commercial, social infrastructure and urban renewal, you’ll manage initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives, budgets, and timelines.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with experience in the Tasmanian market to join a collaborative team backed by the resources and expertise of a national business.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and close projects within agreed scope, time, and budget.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets, monitoring progress and adjusting as needed.
- Coordinate consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.
- Manage procurement processes and contract administration.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining compliance with governance standards.
- Prepare and present project reports and updates to clients and internal teams.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 3+ years’ experience delivering property or infrastructure projects in the Tasmanian market with experience of working with clients in the public or private sector. Consultancy or client-side experience highly desirable
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects across sectors such as aviation, education, community infrastructure, and delivery of urban renewal.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
