City of Melbourne, Australia Resources Group Full time

Looking for a role where your curiosity can truly make an impact? Join a boutique research consultancy where people, culture, and brands come together to shape smarter business decisions.

Why you’ll love it here

- Meaningful work: from public policy to creative campaigns to complex social issues, your projects will give organisations the knowledge to act with confidence.
- Diverse clients & projects: government, retail, business/industrial and more. No two days (or briefs) are the same.
- Collaborative culture: thoughtful, strategic, and supportive. You’ll be surrounded by people who care about delivering great work and learning from each other.
- Growth & development: a chance to broaden your skills across both qual and quant, with tailored professional development and exposure to senior consultants.

The role

As a Project Consultant, you’ll play a hands-on role in delivering end-to-end research. You will:

- Manage projects from proposal through to delivery.
- Design screeners, questionnaires, and discussion guides.
- Analyse data to uncover patterns and build compelling stories.
- Create engaging reports and presentations that bring insights to life.
- Work closely with clients, attending meetings and co-presenting findings.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of projects while learning directly from experienced consultants.

About you

You’ll thrive here if you are:

- Curious & insightful: drawn to understanding people, culture, and business.
- Organised & proactive: confident managing multiple projects with attention to detail.
- Collaborative: you enjoy working as part of a team and sharing ideas.
- Commercially aware: able to see how insights deliver real business impact.

Some prior experience in research project management is essential, along with an eagerness to keep building your skills across both qual and quant techniques.
