As Delivery Lead – Atlassian Administrator, you will work closely with value streams and leaders to create an environment where teams can thrive. You will help navigate complexity, enable flexible ways of working, and ensure outcomes are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Your primary function will lead the evolution of our Atlassian toolset, combining technical expertise with coaching to empower teams to make the most of our platforms. This role blends hands-on administration with people-focused support, making you a key enabler of collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement across the organisation.
Your responsibilities include:
- Atlassian Suite Administration & Maintenance:
- Administration: Manage the full lifecycle of our Atlassian applications, including installation, upgrades, and patches.
- Configuration: Design, configure, and maintain complex workflows, custom fields, screens, and permissions schemes in Jira to meet evolving business needs.
- User Management: Administer user accounts, groups, and permissions to ensure appropriate access and security across all Atlassian applications.
- Integrations: Integrate Atlassian products with other third-party applications (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket, Slack, etc.) to create a seamless development and collaboration ecosystem.
- Tool Coaching & User Enablement:
- Training: Develop and deliver training sessions, workshops, and documentation for new and existing users on how to effectively use Atlassian tools. This includes creating user guides, best practice documents, and video tutorials.
- Coaching: Act as an internal coach and subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to project teams on how to leverage Atlassian tools to improve their workflows, collaboration, and project management processes.
- Best Practices: Champion Atlassian best practices and agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) within the organisation.
- Strategic & Collaborative Tasks:
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the Atlassian suite.
- Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within Atlassian workflows to enhance team efficiency and productivity.
- Vendor Management: Work with Atlassian and other third-party vendors to manage licenses, subscriptions, and support requests.
- Road mapping: Contribute to the strategic roadmap for our Atlassian platform, evaluating new features and apps to enhance our capabilities.
