Role
This is a 1.0 EFT education support class position (38 hours per week). The role may be offered at a reduced time fraction if desired by the successful applicant.
Key responsibilities include coordinating support staff, managing educational resources, and offering specialised student and teacher support tasks, without involving direct teaching duties.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Sourcing and collating learning materials; preparing equipment for students with additional needs.
- Maintaining staff resource storerooms, including unpacking, sorting and coordinating delivery of materials and equipment.
- Completing purchase orders and auditing supplies.
- Managing storage and distribution of materials for classroom activities, camps, excursions and events.
- Assisting teachers in communicating with parents/carers via the school platform.
- Completing template documents for camps and excursions.
- Other duties as directed by the Principal.
This role does not involve working with students; it is supporting the administrative and operational work of teachers.
Qualifications and Experience
- Valid Working With Children check.
- Prior experience working in similar roles is desirable.
- Prior experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable.
