About You

We’re seeking a technically strong and commercially minded accountant with current or recent experience at Manager level in a leading global accounting firm (Big 4 or similar). This role is ideal for someone ready to transition into a dynamic in-house finance function and apply their expertise in a broader commercial context.

You bring:

- CA or CPA qualification
- Experience managing or supporting month-end close, general ledger reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Solid understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and tax requirements
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- A proactive mindset and ability to prioritise across competing demands
- Property or retirement living sector experience (nice to have, but not essential)

In this role, you’ll:

- Lead critical month-end activities, including journals, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure compliance with reporting deadlines
- Partner with auditors and investors during reporting cycles
- Support finance systems enhancements and automation projects
- Provide financial insight and reporting support to stakeholders across the business
