Overview

Senior Financial Accountant – ASX Top 20. An outstanding opportunity exists for a Senior Financial Accountant to join an ASX Top 20 organisation with a reputation for excellence and scale. This role offers exposure to complex reporting, senior leadership, and clear pathways for career advancement within a high-performing finance function.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead month-end, statutory, and management reporting across multiple entities.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across business units to deliver clear financial insight and analysis.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial statements; manage audit and compliance obligations.
- Drive process and systems improvements, including reporting automation and enhanced controls.
- Contribute to governance and support decision-making at an executive level.

Skills and Experience

- CA/CPA qualified with 3–5 years’ post-qualified experience in a large corporate or chartered environment.
- Strong technical accounting capability with exposure to group reporting, compliance, and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to present to senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, work to deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
- Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools such as Power BI is highly regarded.
