As the Product Analyst in Commercial Airline Technology domain, you will work with multiple business partners across Revenue Management, Sales and Distribution, Ancillary, Network planning, as well as the wider technology domains and external parties. You will support and lead the lifecycle for designated products and underlying technology sub‑systems. You will be accountable for aligning product delivery plans to enable the business to achieve their objectives & strategic outcomes – from concept through to operations. Your role will work with the organisation to help stakeholders improve their processes and systems and support the delivery of new features, enhancements and initiatives. You will also govern service partners to ensure product features are delivered to commitments, meets business requirements and service levels. As the Product Analyst, you will have a customer‑centric mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and innovation.

What You’ll Bring:

- 5+ years’ experience in the areas of Business or Systems Analysis, Product or IT Support or related disciplines

- Aviation or travel industry experience is desirable, inclusive of Amadeus system and other GDS

- Proven track record of operating in IT Delivery environments from concept to BAU

- Understanding and use of modern delivery frameworks and their methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, lean, design thinking, human‑centred design, multivariate testing, continuous improvement, test automation and others

- Proven ability to apply analytical and critical thinking skills to solve, and lead the solving of, strategic problems

- Prior experience with, and strong comfort using, collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence to document and manage stories and other documentation

- Experience in working with data sets to deduce accurate insights

- Demonstrated ability to partner, coach, and collaborate across multiple functions and levels

- Project, change,or vendor management experience

- Experience in Operations and / or working in ongoing product lifecycle

- Demonstrated technical expertise, utilising a depth and breadth of knowledge and practical experience within a specific technical area. Stays up to date with regulatory and other change in the technical area, and understands how they apply to Qantas

- Able to work cross‑functionally and align business unit processes to enterprise business processes

- Proven ability to apply analytical and critical thinking skills to solve, and lead the solving of, strategic problems

- Experience with product requirements gathering, analysis and management for business cases

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to various audiences

- Ability to work autonomously to solve complex problems
