Rare opportunity to lead and inspire our Wait team to create excellent client experiences**Role Detail**Based on our client services floor, our Corporate Hospitality team delivers five-star service across boardroom dining, catering, major events, cocktail functions and more. As Waiter Team Leader, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations, guiding both permanent and casual staff to deliver seamless, world-class service.This role is about more than delegation, it’s about leading by example, inspiring your team, and creating a front-of-house experience that sets the standard every time.* Full-time, permanent role with excellent benefits* Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm (no weekends)* Work in a top-tier international law firm, ensuring every client receives a VIP experience**Key responsibilities*** Lead and support the waiter team through daily briefings, meetings, feedback, and handovers with the Guest Services Manager* Act as the main contact between waitstaff and other teams (AV, Events, Kitchen, Reception)* Plan and deliver events from start to finish, including post-event follow ups* Manage stock, including wine/spirits recording and ordering for upcoming functions* Ensure rooms and events meet service and presentation standards at all times* Role model exceptional client service and proactively seek feedback* Oversee team administration: rosters, invoices, recharge management, expenditure tracking, and process updates* Assist with hospitality tasks where needed (kitchenettes, coffee machines, sandwich prep, reception cover)* Maintain professional grooming and uniform standards across the team* Promote team engagement, skills development, and continuous improvement* Support firm-wide initiatives and complete adhoc tasks as required**About You**If you’re an experienced **Head Waiter** or **Section Leader/Supervisor** with a collaborative leadership style and solid background in corporate boardrooms or luxury hotel environments, chances are you’re what we’re looking for. We’d also love to see:* Strong people-focused leadership skills - demonstrated experience supervising a team and overseeing performance* Exceptional food & beverage and client service skills, demonstrating high level of professionalism, discretion and courtesy at all times* Solid knowledge of espresso coffee, as well as wine and food service* Impeccable presentation standards* Certified in responsible service of alcohol (RSA) or willingness to obtain* Commitment to service excellence and ability to identify and implement improvements* Events coordination experience, including ability to communicate with broader teams to ensure smooth service (Kitchen, Cafe, Reception, etc.)* PC skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite (knowledge of computer-based booking systems for conference rooms or restaurants desirable)* Experience with Point of Sale systems* Hospitality certifications highly regarded* Wine Spirit Education Trust and professional memberships highly regardedA firm born in Asia, underpinned by world class capability.With over 3000 lawyers in 26 global locations, we help our clients manage their risk and enable their growth.
