THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a talented Business Development Representative to join our rapidly growing team In this role, you will reach out to many prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn to educate them on moving away from legacy and ineffective tools in favor of a modern data security solution.

You love to foster relationships and enjoy interpersonal interactions. You’re self-motivated and can hit the ground running in prospecting, managing, and qualifying prospects. You’re excited to learn the fundamentals of sales and are eager to apply your communication skills to a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

As a Business Development Representative , you will be in charge of expanding our user-base and qualifying potential B2B sales prospects as you leverage lead campaigns including cold calling, email, and social media. In addition, your role entails helping line up named accounts, with a huge opportunity for growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Use Salesforce and other sales tools, build lead lists, craft outbound messaging, and share results with the larger sales team
- Prospect into accounts within your territory and find leads to qualify for your Enterprise Sales counterpart
- Initiate sales conversations with key decision makers at target companies
- Manage inbound inquiries and lead management
- Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the Cyera Data Security Platform, industry trends, and competition
- Strive to exceed targets for daily activities and monthly and quarterly pipeline goals
- Conduct high-level conversations with mid and senior-level executives in the security space
- Learn, get better, hit your numbers, and raise your game–every day
- Performs other related duties as assigned

Sales Acumen- sales skills (prospecting, cold calling, nurturing, engaging, presenting, negotiating, closing etc) and knowledge (product, markets, trends, business etc) a person possesses to enact the exchange of value between a buyer and Cyera.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's Degree
- Communicate clearly and concisely, especially when it comes to complicated topics.
- Results-oriented, metrics-driven track record
- Excited to build a long-term sales career
- Coachable and ready to learn concepts
- Strong organization and time management skills with excellent verbal and written skills
- Innovative, motivated, organized, high-energy team player with attention to detail
- Self-starter mentality, leveraging your creativity, insight, and intellect to get the job done
- You’re an overachiever. You never quit, never take no for an answer, and ultimately succeed in everything you do
- Ideally, experience as an SDR/BDR or inside sales professional in a B2B SaaS technology company
- Cloud/data security industry experience a plus
- Experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, and SalesNavigator preferred
- Work out of Cyera’s office at least 3 days a week.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION:

In addition to a standard benefits and equity package, we offer a generous salary. Final compensation will vary based on seniority and relevance of experience, location, and position requirements.

This role may be eligible for potential merit increases based on factors such as individual or company performance, time in role, and other discretionary factors.
